Fitur 2022 brought the tourism industry back together
After such a long time the Fitur has given us a glimpse of normality. The tourism fair in Madrid reopened its doors at the end of January. The show attracted more than 80,000 trade visitors from around the world.
For a total of three days, we met numerous industry contacts and forged numerous plans with partners and customers in 100+ appointments. Whether hotels, hotel chains, technology partners, channel managers or our friends from GIATA: the list of meetings was long and varied!
The FITUR fair was able to prove quite clearly that personal interaction and corona-compliant measures are by no means mutually exclusive. Around 600 booths with participants from more than 100 countries impressively reflected the success.
We think: This was a fantastic signal to our industry and we are already looking forward to being there again next year, live and on site!
